Traces of the Silk Road, Journey of Uzbekistan - 1

Uzbekistan is famous for beautiful women in Asia.
But did you know that there are many tourist attractions that we have never known before as well as unfamiliar countries?

We will go over all Uzbekistan's basic information and the tourist attractions before you leave!

Today, let's take a look at the basic information of Uzbekistan.

Weather in Uzbekistan
Similar to Korea, the weather in Uzbekistan is very dry, and because of its continental climate, it is a country where dryness and severe daily temperature difference are common.

So, the right season to travel is spring and fall, and it's actually similar throughout the four seasons, so be careful before traveling. Especially if you have skin problems like atopic dermatitis because of its dry constitution, you should be careful when traveling for a long time.

Uzbekistan time difference and flight time
The time difference is 4 hours slower than Korea and 10 hours slower than the central time of the United States.
Flight time will take about 8 hours to depart from Korea, there will be no direct flight from the central part of the United States, and 16 to 20 hours depending on the number of flights taken.

Uzbekistan exchange rate
Uzbekistan's monetary unit is the Soum, and since it is not a frequently used currency, you should exchange it for dollars at the start of Korea before exchanging it there.
You can exchange it at the airport or at the hotel, and you need to be careful when you carry it because there is a lot of money exchanged according to the amount.

The voltage used by Uzbekistan
The voltage in Uzbekistan is 220V and 50hz, and Korean electronics are readily available. But people from the U.S. need a code or a device that converts the voltage. In addition, multi-adapter is required everywhere because the socket-outlet may vary.

We will continue with the tourist attractions in Uzbekistan on the next post :)
